More About Lorraine...
I began my counselling journey in 2008. My previous career in retail management had been enhanced by my passion for people.
On further reflection, I recognised that counselling and holding people through their feelings had been a part of my history for as long as I could remember.
So eventually counseling became a natural progression.
Once qualified, I began supporting families in the community before working in a successful rehab, where I became lead counsellor.
Most people imagine that working in a rehab means working with addiction… This is true, but really it’s just the tip of the iceberg.
My work there was also to support people with all of the pain their hearts were carrying before addiction took hold.
Alongside this work I also had a private practice.
Since 2021 I have relocated to the Isle of Mull, I have continued to work privately, both online and one to one with clients.
